Why 84R?
Slender rounded panels with 16mm wide open joints enhance the linear appearance of the ceiling, providing a directional effect to a room. For a smoother appearance the joints can be closed with a join profile that is flush with the face of the panel

- Panels are also available for use in exterior applications

Design & Inspiration
The Slender box shaped round open panels can be specified to create an emphasis on the direction of the panels. The open joints provide 16% open area in combination with the plain panels. If required the joints can be closed for a smooth appearance.

Material characteristics
The 84R open Linear ceiling system consists of round shaped panels which can be easily clipped onto a carrier. The 84 mm wide panels have a 16 mm open joint between the panels. The system module is 100 mm. Panels are demountable for easy access to the plenum. Joints can optionally be closed with a flush join profile.

With the Luxalon 84R ceiling system with closed joints an absorption value (αw) 0.75 can be obtained, depending on the ceiling and panel configuration.

Umweltgerechte Materialien sind der Schlüssel zu einer nachhaltigen Bauweise. Unser Grundsatz ist es, von Beginn an nur Materialien mit umweltfreundlichen Eigenschaften zu verwenden. Viele unserer Produkte bestehen aus Aluminium, das in unseren hauseigenen Schmelzöfen hergestellt wurde. Wir haben unsere Prozesse so weit optimiert, dass wir bis zu 99 % recycelte Inhaltsstoffe verwenden und genau die passende Legierung für unsere Produkte herstellen können. Unser Holz ist FSC-zertifiziert, und bei unserer Produktentwicklung befolgen wir das „Cradle to Cradle“-Prinzip („von der Wiege zur Wiege“).
Energieeinsparungen
Um die globale Erwärmung wirksam zu bekämpfen, muss der Energieverbrauch im Gebäudebereich nachhaltig gesenkt werden. Die meisten modernen Bürogebäude verbrauchen mehr Energie für die Kühlung bzw. Klimatisierung als für das Heizen.
