Since 1913, the Philips Sport Vereniging (Philips Sports Club) Eindhoven football (soccer) club has played at the location of the current PSV Stadium. During its most recent renovation, architect Toon van Aken created a distinctive, metal-clad design with state-of-the-art facilities. Among the stadium's most notable features are the 4800 square meters of Hunter Douglas sun louvers that form its distinctive shape. Linear ceilings from Hunter Douglas are also used throughout the complex, including stadium under canopies, luxury boxes, and in public hallways.
