Hunter Douglas' HeartFelt® ceiling system, which received the Red Dot Award this year, is available in five new earth tones. This allows the felt panels to blend in seamlessly with other materials, such as wood. The shades of greycolour palette has been extended with the colours black and white. Says Pieter van Rees, Business Development Manager Ceilings, ‘Now that the range has 12 colours, designers are even better equipped to create dynamic, visually attractive ceilings with HeartFelt®.’

Exactly one year after launching its modular felt ceiling system HeartFelt®, Hunter Douglas has now expanded the collection with new colours. ‘We felt there was a need for our felt ceiling to fit in with other popular materials, such as wood. With the earth tones palette it is possible to imitate the natural look and feel of wood. The new colours are: cream, light brown, medium brown, dark brown and umber,’ explains Van Rees. Until recently the panels were only available in five shades of grey. This palette has now been extended with two more colours: black and white. By varying the colour schemes, designers can create a truly eye-catching design.

HeartFelt® is made out of felt, a natural, soft material with a warm appearance and excellent (above average) acoustic properties. Both the felt and the panels are cradle-to-cradle certified. In 2017, HeartFelt was awarded the prestigious Red Dot Award for Best of the Best in the Product Design category.
