Asia's accelerating growth means the region now features many of the world's most advanced architectural designs. The Hatton National Bank Tower, in Colombo, Sri Lanka, is no exception. Designed by Building Design (Pvt) Limited, the building features energy-efficient lighting, glazing, and facades; an integrated HVAC system controlled by a Building Management System; a state-of-the-art communications network; and a building-wide security system. Hunter Douglas metal ceiling systems -- including cell ceilings, linear ceilings, and curved panels -- are featured in work and shared spaces throughout the 23-story building. Easy access to the plenum and customization of installation options eased installation and maintenance of the tower's extensive infrastructure.
